CTIM Malaysian Tax, the first-of-its-kind web portal on Malaysia tax, provides free access to latest Malaysian tax developments. The Portal at malaysiantax.com covers all categories of Malaysia tax information: tax news, tax legislation, tax judgments and tax rulings, public rulings and technical guidelines from Inland Revenue Board Malaysia (IRBM), tax events, books, tax articles and tax rates.
CTIM Malaysian Tax provides periodic e-mail alerts and syndication of updates by way of RSS feeds. It allows the users to search its archives for a stipulated period of time.
The information provided by CTIM Malaysian Tax benefits a number of people including tax practitioners, accountants, auditors, company secretaries, lawyers, corporate counsels, company officials (directors, senior officers, risk and compliance officers), professional bodies, students and faculty members of law and business faculties, government departments, statutory and regulatory bodies, enforcement officers including police and customs, small businesses and the general public.
CTIM Malaysian Tax portal covers all areas of tax in Malaysia: Malaysia income tax, Malaysia service tax, Malaysia sales tax, goods and services tax in Malaysia (GST), stamp duty, customs duty, withholding tax, capital gains tax, Malaysia property tax, real property gains tax, road tax, import tax, export tax, Labuan offshore tax, tax treaties and double Taxation Agreements.

  to provide free, fast and easy access to the latest Malaysian tax developments to professionals, particularly to tax practitioners;

CTIM Malaysian Tax updates its users of all latest Malaysian tax developments. The developments are classified under eight categories: (1) News, (2) Legislation, (3) Judgments and Rulings, (4) Regulatory, (5) Events, (6) Books and Articles, (7) Students, and (8) Industry Updates. The tax updates are in due course archived. The updates are stored in the database as long as the original copyright owners permit, and may be searched and retrieved by the visitors using the search facility.
All areas of Malaysian tax are covered: Personal Income Tax, Corporate Income Tax, Capital Gains Tax, Real Property Gains Tax, Stamp Duty, Customs Duty, Goods and Services Tax, Withholding Tax, Road Tax, Service Tax, Sales Tax, Import and Export Tax, Property Tax, Customs Duties, Indirect Taxes, Labuan Offshore Tax, and Tax Treaties including Double Taxation Agreements.
News: includes the full text of news items related to tax, sourced from leading newspapers and news agencies, professional bodies, industry newsletters, regulatory bodies and government departments.
Legislation: includes selected Federal Acts and Amendment Acts, Federal Bills, Federal PU(A)s and PU(B)s, and State Legislation. This section makes available, where possible, the full text of the legislation.
