What is CTIM Malaysian Tax?
CTIM Malaysian Tax is a web portal that provides free access to latest Malaysian tax developments. It is accessible at www.malaysiantax.com. It monitors over 40 sources on a daily basis, and covers all categories of Malaysian tax information: news, legislation, judgments, public rulings, operational guidelines, technical guidelines, events, decision impact statements, guidelines on advance ruling, books and articles. What are the services available through CTIM Malaysian Tax?
Daily Updates: It provides daily updates of local tax developments. You may view the homepage (that is generally arranged based on the significance and/or currency of a news item), or pages based on the day of updates (Headlines Today, Headlines Yesterday, etc) or on the category of updates (News, Legislation, Judgments, etc).
E-mail Alerts: It sends out e-mail alerts to registered users on latest tax developments 1 to 2 times a week. You may subscribe to the e-mail alerts for free.
RSS Feeds: It provides free RSS feeds. It also provides customized RSS Readers for not-for-profit bodies and academic institutions free of charge.
Search Facility: While it is not a database, it does provide visitors a limited archive (6-12 months) search facility. This service is also free of charge.
You may share a news item by e-mail or through Facebook, or use the print tool to print a news item. You may also tell a friend about CTIM Malaysian Tax using the Tell a Friend facility on the homepage (bottom left).
Is CTIM Malaysian Tax a database?
CTIM Malaysian Tax is not intended to be a database. It is a daily update service of local tax developments, even though it provides visitors a free limited archive (6-12 months) search facility.

CTIM Malaysian Tax is promoted by Chartered Tax Institute of Malaysia (CTIM), and published on behalf of CTIM by Muttath Knowledge Management Services Sdn Bhd. Read more.
It was originally launched as part of the Malaysian Legal and Tax Information Centre on 1 April 2010, and later as an independent portal on 3 January 2011. The Chartered Tax Institute of Malaysia (CTIM) acquired it with effect from 1 April 2012.
