CTIM Malaysian Tax is promoted by Chartered Tax Institute of Malaysia (CTIM).
CTIM, originally formed under the auspices of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants, was established in 1991. Currently, CTIM membership comprises of accountants, licensed tax agents, lawyers, members from commerce and industry and other tax practitioners like members from the Inland Revenue Board.
Since its inception, CTIM has been actively involved in creating awareness on and promoting the tax profession to ensure the country's demand for qualified and trained tax practitioners is met.
As the body responsible for matters concerning taxation in this country, CTIM ensures that its members are well informed and have their information base constantly updated by attending Continuing Professional Development Programmes (CPD). As a national taxation body, CTIM also participates in numerous dialogues and meetings organized by the relevant authorities namely the Ministry of Finance particularly Inland Revenue Board and the Tax Analysis Division and the Royal Customs and Excise Department.

CTIM Malaysian Tax is published by Muttath Knowledge Management Services Sdn Bhd (MKMS) on behalf of Chartered Tax Institute of Malaysia (CTIM).
MKMS, with offices in India and Malaysia, provides consultation and assistance in non-core activities for legal and tax firms, corporations, judicial/ quasi-judicial institutions, and law and tax academies in the Asean countries. The services include knowledge management (KM) consultancy and KM implementation support, publishing services, practice management support and LPO services.
