GST Implementation to add up to RM27 Billion to Malaysia-s Income
KUALA LUMPUR, May 17 (Bernama) -- Malaysia will be able to rake in an additional income of up to RM27 billion if the proposed goods and services tax (GST) is implemented at seven per cent, similar to neighbouring Singapore.

KUALA LUMPUR: The deadline to send the BE income tax return forms for income earned from non-businesses and to pay the tax balance via e-Filing has been extended to May 15, the Inland Revenue Board said yesterday.
 
LHDNM open on Weekends
To assist taxpayers who do not have access to the Internet for filing their Income Tax Return using e-Filing, the Inland Revenue Board has announced that e-filing service counters at their branches would operate as usual this weekend.
