Companies may use MyCoID for Income Tax Matters |
The Inland Revenue Board has announced that, in line with the Governments initiative to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the public delivery system based on the simple, fast and effective concept, beginning 01 July 2012, companies registered with the Companies Commission of Malaysia (SSM) may use their MyCoID (Malaysia Corporate Identity) for income tax related matters with IRBM.
MyCoID refers to the company number which will be used as the sole reference for various registration purposes and when dealing with the related government agencies. Currently, there are 5 participating agencies, namely the Inland Revenue Board (IRBM), Employees Provident Fund (EPF), Human Resources Development Berhad (PSMB), Social Security Organisation (SOCSO) and SME Corp. Malaysia.
